Herbal medicine for beginners 2: the phytotherapy laboratory

There are different methods of extracting active ingredients from medicinal plants: for example, in our phytotherapy laboratory we use alcohol and glycerol to obtain gemmoderivatives. Did you know that you can visit our herbal medicine laboratory during the guided tour? Certain medicinal herbs are especially beneficial for our skin: calendula, thyme, St. John’s Wort. Come discover their properties and learn the oily extraction of the plants’ active ingredients, from which to make fragrant ointments later.
